Description
Sabino Creek's head waters start at the foot of Mount Lemmon, in the Catalina Mountains near Summer Haven, Arizona. As it approaches the lower elevation Sonoran Desert it is surrounded by towering granite cliffs.
Huge old growth Saguaros are abundant right up to the riparian valley Cottonwood Trees. It is a true oasis in the desert and a popular day trip get away. Sabino Canyon has to be one of the most unique and beautiful canyons on the planet.

Jerry Bokowski replied:
We don’t got there near enough times, Chance. When we do it never disappoints. Thank you very much!

Jerry, this is a very interesting canyon; I love both of your Sabino Canyon captures. I love saguaro cacti, and the cliffs have such rich texture! l/f

The cliffs weren't what caught my eye at first, it was the cacti! What a gorgeous scene! l/f
