Description
A prickly pear cactus proudly displays its gorgeous yellow blossoms in my back yard in Vail, Arizona. Later the blooms will fall off just like a fake plant and leave the fruit behind. What luscious layers of loveliness, sheer prickly pear delight, dear Jerry! A mere smorgasbord of springtime blooms, to delight the senses, awakening one's artistic sensibilities. Beauty like this certainly will satisfy those who just can't get enough of what the Sonoran Desert has to offer. They remind me of roses, my favorite flowers. LF and FB
