On August 8th, we had an awesome summer monsoon storm. A deluge for 20 minutes. Tremendous Thunders and lightning. Today, we were greeted by these gorgeous summer barrel cacti blooms, at our Arizona Sonoran Desert acre.
Sometimes flowers appear to be glowing from within.....just like the personalities of our favorite persons come shining through....a gift from me to all of our flower lovers all over the world (especially my photographer wife). My appreciation to her and all who have been so encouraging to me and my work!

This is just beyond words, my friend! It is like that is the optimistic life of the pure soul is just so ready to make the world a better place, and filled the color of hope to the one who are feeling sad or upset! I love the miraculous beam of peace that a soul has to develop within with time, like a meditation that needs practice of forever! It is just so amazing my friend! :)

Thank you so much, Tejsweena! I can not believe 5 years have passed since I posted this. Yes, the Almighty Creator designed 350,000 species of flowering plants for our delight. They also provide a source of food and medicinal needs. HE also designed us to desire eternal life...living forever to enjoy each season and see all the wonder of the entire earth’s beauty.....Ecclesiastes 3:11

Well Jerry, I am glowing from within at this beautiful capture. What a wonderful dedication to all those who have shared with you their encouraging thoughts about your work. The glow reminds me of a beautiful night light in the coziest most relaxing part of one's home. I too have gotten to experience the glow of a barrel cactus, but is rare for me. It's like the fairytale of the ugly duckling becoming a swan. I think this would make a beautiful card sent to someone inscribed with your lovely thought "sometimes flowers appear to be glowing from within just like the personalities of our favorite persons, comes shining through." Thank you so much, Eva. In autumn the only thing left is the fruit these flowers produce. They look like little pineapples. They sholuld still be here in November. Praire dogs and chipmonks often climb over the thorns and pic them for their fruit.
