Description
Along the Sabino Creek at Sabino Canyon Recreational area, in Tucson, Arizona, we can see many rock formations, many that resemble things and are thus named.
Can you see the mask like face in these rocks? Sabino Canyon is one of the most beautiful areas one could imagine, a true oasis in the Sonoran Desert.
Spending a day here will provide unforgettable memories that last a lifetime.

Such a beautiful location. Great composition with those leafy trees lining the stream. Featured in American Desert Southwest.

I see it. Amazing find! And yes Kon Tiki is still open. I live a couple minutes from it currently. I've only been a handful of times, including my bowling team taking me there the week of my birthday. Neat place
Jerry Bokowski replied:
It’s a Tucson icon, Chance! Thanks for all your visits, comments and support!

I agree with all the comments. The face reminds me of a Kon Tiki mask. I love the serenity of the picture.
Jerry Bokowski replied:
Yes, there is ( was? ) a famous bar and restaurant in Tucson by that name. It has been over 20 years since I was there. Thank you so much for your visit and comments!
