Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
Foggy February is a painting of a rare fog at Apache Lake, Arizona. When traveling towards the Roosevelt Dam this is a view that could be seen from the winding dirt road. Leaves have fallen off the Mesquite tree and the sun is dissipating the early morning fog. The lake is smooth as glass.
Giant Saguaros and steep hills and cliffs line the nearly 17 mile long lake making this an oasis in the desert! Part of the Salt River basin and dams, in the Tonto National Forest. Bald Eagles can be spotted from time to time!

What an amazing painting this is dear Jerry. Absolutely gorgeous, with its sense of peaceful serenity. The mind and heArt just drinks in the misty, moody blue hues reflected across the water and the dreamy pastels in the clouds. The silhouetted saguaro-laden rocky cliffs gives a nice finish to the foreground. It is such a lovely painting in every way. Promoting in the art group, "BEAUTY OF ARIZONA!" LF and FB Janet đź’•

Thank you so much, Malanda. This was one of those simple one sitting paintings from memory and imagination of a rare desert fog at my favorite Arizona lake.

A most magical painting. There is also a serene timelessness about it. It could be a lake-landscape from a long gone mysterious continent, or from a future - when humans no longer walk on Earth...
Jerry Bokowski replied:
Harmet, Again my thanks to you for sharing your thoughts on this! I appreciate it! I hope to see the fulfillment of the prophecy at Psalms 37 verse 29...something about the word "forever" there!!! JERRY
