I have loved gazing at Finger Rock, in the Tucson, Arizona Catalina Mountain Range, for decades. Here we see a rare February fog in the Sonoran Desert and mountains. Fog completely transforms a familiar landscape.

Paying a revisit to your beautiful little monochromatic finger Finger Rock Fog rendition, Jerry. Have noticed Finger Rock looking just like this many mornings this winter season walking out to my car and think of this painting every time!

Thank you as always for your visits, comments, and support of my efforts, Chance! Very much appreciated!

Would love to see how you have spot lighted it, Bonnie! The greatest compliment an artist can receive is to have someone make it a part of their home! Thank you so much, dear Bonnie!

Revisiting this gorgeous painting. I am most impressed when artists as yourself can achieve brilliant landscapes in monochrome. Great portrayal of Finger Rock which of course is one of my favorite features of our area, too. I am directly south of it, many miles away but still lucky enough to look right at it when I am going north on my street home from work everyday. And best of luck in the Arizona in Black and White Contest!
Jerry Bokowski replied:
I was honored and humbled when FAA member Bonnie See purchased this and I got to meet her at her beautiful home, Chance. Thank you very much!

Fog is clouds that have come down to earth! I love the way the fog in your painting appears to be laying on each level of the mountains. That is so cool! And you have captured it beautifully in your painting. The B&W gives it that special feeling. Once again....all the best to you in the show, Jerry! I can't wait till you tell us of the paintings you will have sold! ; ) L/F
Jerry Bokowski replied:
I hope these simple, small, paintings sell too, Deborah. Just trying to contribute to the Tohono Chul fund raiser as it is such a great place. Thank you so much for your observant and kind words!
