Description
The sun is just about down at the base of Cat mountain of the Tucson Mountains. This was taken from my front yard in Vail, Arizona. Nothing spectacular but I still thought it was worthy of a post. taken May 22, 2015

yes it makes a lot of sense, and yeah it's pretty late here too hahaha..This sunset has so many beautiful colors in it, purple, blues, yellows and whites!! and layered to compliment each other as if put there on purpose!! You know my favorite saying is that I do love how God paints! :)

Georgia, I just took a shower to wake me up for another few minutes. And yes how true....all we can do is imitate the Grand Artist! Thanks again!

So lovely Jerry! The skies there are breathtaking aren't they? Very nice photo!! L/F
Jerry Bokowski replied:
Georgia, I liked how "color keyed" this looked. How the mountains took on the slate color of the clouds and sun lit clouds matched the sun! Does that make any sense?...as they say in the south, "I;m tard" (tired....yawn) need some sweet sleep. Thanks for the sweet words!

Awesome capture, Jerry! The sky is absolutely marvelous and the whole composition also! L/F
Jerry Bokowski replied:
Felicia, thank you. In the distance are the Tucson Mountains. Just behind them is OLD TUCSON, The Sonoran Desert Museum, and Tucson Mountain Park and Saguaro National Park West
