Description
A close up of Palo Verde tree blossoms in my back yard. Palo Verde means GREEN TREE. Their green trunk and branches allow them to lose all of their tiny leaves during the scorching heat of late May and June and still maintain production of Chlorophyll. The tiny blossoms are so prolific that the entire tree looks yellow in spring. My painting of FOUR PEAKS demonstrates that the Sonoran desert can be a sea of yellow.
