Description
At Sabino Canyon Recreational Area, Saguaro Cactus Blossoms greeted us at the visitor center on a beautiful spring day. We shared it with our guest from Macedonia, as it is an excellent example of our lush Sonoran Desert Mountains and Canyons. The desert is blooming all around us.These blooms are Arizona's state flower, and you can see why.

Just over three years ago I captured these at Sabino Canyon with you and Eva Maria Nova. We had a great day in the Catalinas as later we traveled up the Catalina Highway to Mt Lemmon. Thank you so much, Janet. It’s an honor!

Lovely capture and shimmering light Jerry! This is the first time I have seen or even heard of a Saguaro blossom, very pretty flower.

It is the state flower of Arizona, Malanda. Thank you so much! I painted some in my full moon painting called 'Room For Two'.
