Description
A break in the clouds allows the sun to shine on the colorful cliffs of Zion National Park during a spring storm. To the upper left we see the flat topped West Temple. In the center are the Towers of the Virgin and to your upper right is The Altar of Sacrifice. Prickly Pare Cacti are starting to bloom as well as various wild flowers.New light green leaves adorn the stand of trees as light off the cliffs reflects and softly illuminates the valley floor. These cliffs tower over 3,500 feet above the canyon. Light on a day like this brings out the incredible colors that Zion is world famous for. I love this place !

Jerry you have a beautiful technique that brings light into my mind. I zoomed in to see the formation of the rock, there is so much happening there, it is endless, it is timeless. it is amazing the beauty of the canyon is still with us. We have the Rocky Mountains but I am sure they are much younger than Towers of the Virgin Zion. Bravo, my dear friend.

The main thing that I can not capture is the vertical scale of this place, Kim. When I was there last May, I was blown away once again by the looking at the straight up height there.
