Title
Baboquivari Peak
Artist
Jerry Bokowski
Medium
Painting - Acrylic On Canvas
Description
This is a variation of a painting of this magnificent mountain peak that featured a cloudless sky and sun lit grasslands.
Here, I added some soft, distant clouds behind the mountains as well as cloud shadows on the grasslands. The huge granite peak rises 2,000 feet above its base. To the north is the International Observatory located on Kitt peak. The native American Tohono O'odham Nation has great respect and regard for this peak. Now folks that admire this iconic landmark in southern Arizona can choose their favorite version of this.

HUGe Congratulations for your SALE, Jerry! Well deserved for sure. This is one of my favorites. The landscape is stunning in the foreground, and I love your sky and clouds in the background. All coming together to enhance the beautifully rendered Baboquivari Peak. Arizona has so much diversified beauty to share, and you showcase that marvelously in your art.
