Description
Navajo Lake is the headwaters to the North Folk of the Virgin River that flows through Zion National Park. We traveled here as I wanted our guest from Macedonia to see Cascade Falls. The road to the trailhead was closed, so we missed seeing the falls. Winter was still here as we drove through snow flurries and the temperature outside was 28 degrees Fahrenheit or minus 2 degrees Celsius ! We should have brought our ice skates as the lake was still frozen over! It was here that I decided to surprise Eva with a visit to Bryce National Park even though it meant that we would then start our 10 hour trip back to Tucson at 4:30 pm in the afternoon! The trip passed by quickly as we all talked all the way home.
