Description
I have had some questions & comments regarding my custom automotive art and airbrush painting so I thought that I would create a gallery to share a facet of my professional art back ground.
This photo was taken in 1984 ( No digital back then!!! ) by camera on tripod with multiple exposures. Photographer Bill Briggs did an excellent job in capturing my work with a spectacular sunset and the lights of Tucson from the Catalina Highway.
This was my personal Custom Van that served to showcase my work and took us on many comfortable road trips. It featured 6 sunroofs with slide decks built into the headliner for those bright summer days, Bay windows, Rear A/C unit, 4 reclining captains chairs, Queen size sofa bed, TV / VCR. CB radio, multi-amp stereo and much more.
I did all of the graphics and this featured an airbushed Stage Coach Scene
located between the bay windows, that looked similar to my "Racing The Storm"painting. Once people came to my shop, they were confident that they had found the right place to have their custom van built.

Those were the days, Chance ! I was young and fearless to paint almost any scene on a van or truck. Now, canvas art in my studio feels right for me. Thank you as always for all of support. I really appreciate it very much!

Laurie, I wish I still had this....I sold it back in 1988....It was great to take trips in....so comfortable and also good for overnight place to sleep at camp sites. Thank you Laurie...just a bit of my past! Jerry
