Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

In 2009, my Wife and I brought our bicycles to Zion National Park. We wanted to ride the Parus Bike Trail. It is a trail that is great for bikes, wheelchairs, or a nice stroll. It runs along the Virgin River and features several bridges over the river. I took a photograph of the famous geologic formation called the Watchman that towers over the valley from one of the bridges to use as a reference for a future painting. I decided to add fog and river mist to the painting as I have seen Zion this way on several occasions. New light green leaves adorn the trees that indicate Spring is finally here. The sound of white water and the fresh, moist canyon scent enhance the whole visual experience. Can you tell that I love this place?!
I have been in awe of the deserts, mountains, and canyons of the great southwest for over 50 years. Atmospheric events like sunrise and sunsets, approaching storms and monsoon rains, fog and mist, snow, or moonlit nights, just add to the beauty of Arizona and Utah landscapes. This is what inspires a passion within me to capture the mood, drama, and majesty of being there....from being at the foot of a majestic crag or on top of a summit overlooking a distant valley below. I paint real places that one can visit and see. Whether it be Finger Rock of the Catalina Mountains,The Sentinel in Zion National Park, or Mather Point at the Grand Canyon, it is my goal and desire to have my paintings draw a viewer to them and that they become...

Thank you Linda. The first time there we just drove through it ( before shuttle service ). We loved it so have been back many times and have hiked almost all of the famous trails. If you two ever go again, let me know so I can offer some suggestions on great places to see or hike!
