Description
On a beautiful spring day of April 27, 2017, I saw this view of the Great White Throne at Big Bend in Zion National Park. It rises over 2,000 feet straight up. Spring Green surrounded us and stood out in stark contrast to the giant cliff walls. In the distance we could see the Virgin River in full flow from upstream snow melt. We walked along the road in order to not miss a thing. We had seen Kayakers, Vertical Wall cliff climbers, hikers on top of Angels Landing, the spot where Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were as they rode up the Virgin River, Side canyon waterfalls, the Gateway to the Narrows and finally this wonderful view.

Thank you very much, Linda. It usually takes cliff climbers three days to make it to the top. They get a third of the way up and then bivouac in hammocks. It must be an amazing experience! to get some sleep
