40 years?!?! That is incredible Jerry! Hope you all have beautiful weather this year- can't wait to one day visit your state!
Jerry Bokowski replied:
Since we live in Vail, 20 miles southeast of Tucson and 1,000 feet in elevation higher, we have more of an opportunity to experience SNOW. Sierra Vista/Fort Huachuca is even higher at over 4,000 feet. Thank you Danielle. I always love hearing from you!

Such a gorgeous and peace-filled scene Jerry~ I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't even know it ever snowed in AZ until recent years! This is not how one who is unfamiliar typically thinks of the desert, which makes it extra special.. and a spectacular sight!! (The magic you create with your lighting technique must have something to do with that!)
Jerry Bokowski replied:
It snows in Sierra Vista/Fort Huachuca more often but last January-February we got more snow in Tucson than the past 4 decades! Thank you so much, Danielle!
Chance Kafka
Paying a revisit to this beautiful little painting. I had a dream last night of snow in the desert and this reminded me of it! Well done!
Jerry Bokowski replied:
They had considered doing a holiday card using this image. We’ll see. Thank you very much Chance!

Nothing quite like snowfall in the desert, Jerry! I have only seen it once during my time here, back in February, and while I do not mess the relentless months on end of snowfall from up north, it surely is a sight to behold down here in the desert. You have painted this beautiful scene so well. I can feel the chill on the air and the snowflakes hitting me!
Jerry Bokowski replied:
For a 4 hour , 10”x10” painting, it did resemble a snow laden desert, Chance! Thank you very much as always!
Danielle R T Haney
WOW!! What a wonderfully unique and stunning painting! Although it's a wintry scene, it has a very warm and inviting feel- those colors and the beautiful sheen are phenomenal! Best wishes on your show Jerry!!

Snowfall in the desert certainly does create such a beautiful, atmospheric luster. I love your purple hues, in your artwork, creating such a glorious sky. Here is to many SALES, Jerry, at this exhibition! LF
